Job summary

Windmill Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Qualified Electrician / QS for solar and battery storage installations across domestic and commercial projects, with a strong focus on compliance and certification.

The role combines hands-on installation and electrical quality control, requiring 18th Edition, AM2, and NICEIC/MCS standards familiarity, plus a valid UK driving licence. Attractive salary, company van, and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391) or equivalent.
• Solar PV and Battery Storage qualifications (C&G 2922 & 2923) or willing to obtain with support.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS/SMSTS or CSCS.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Work across domestic and commercial projects.
• Oversee electrical compliance, inspections and certification.
• Ensure installations meet NICEIC, MCS and current wiring standards.

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
