First Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead high-value electrical tenders in Burton upon Trent. The role involves coordinating with commercial and technical teams to craft competitive solutions and managing tender processes end-to-end.

Formación

• Electrical background in Building Services / MEP.
• Experience in electrical estimating or strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Provide high-level design for containment and LV systems where required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working across multiple teams and engaging key stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Career development opportunities within a growing business.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main contact with clients throughout the bid process.
• Review tender drawings and prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Issue enquiries to the supply chain and assess quotations.
• Build detailed cost estimates using estimating software.
• Support value engineering and bid optimisation activities.
• Identify and manage commercial risk throughout the estimating process.
• Prepare and present bids for internal approval and client submission.
• Support contract reviews, negotiations and governance processes.
• Manage contract terms, warranties and obligations.
• Contribute to commercial strategy and margin improvement initiatives.
