Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions in Cannock is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the team. The role focuses on preparing accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions, reviewing drawings, and cost calculations. You will liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive tenders.

Offering £60,000 salary, company car, permanent office-based role, bonus and progression opportunities, with early finish on Fridays and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within building services or M&E.
• Strong understanding of electrical estimating, tendering and cost calculations.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Confident communicating with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Calculating material, labour and subcontractor costs.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying project risks, cost implications and potential savings.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure tenders are commercially competitive.
• Managing multiple estimates and deadlines effectively.
