Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is partnering with a Cannock-based client to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator. The role focuses on pricing projects, preparing tenders and collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver competitive estimates.

The successful candidate will review drawings and specifications, manage multiple estimates and deadlines, and work with the team to ensure accuracy and commercial competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the building services or M&E industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical estimating, tendering and cost calculations.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Confident communicating with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Calculating material, labour and subcontractor costs.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying project risks, cost implications and potential savings.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure tenders are commercially competitive.
• Managing multiple estimates and deadlines effectively.
