Job summary

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 and testing & inspection qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391).
• Extensive housing/maintenance electrical experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to review electrical documentation and certification.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical responsive repairs across housing projects.
• Carry out electrical testing and inspections.
• Generate and manage electrical certification.
• Review certification for compliance and quality standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks and guidance on relevant legislation.
• Maintain records of qualifications for staff and subcontractors.
• Assist in out-of-hours call-out rota.
• Provide technical supervision to electrical operatives.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with regulations and best practice.
