Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer with an electrical background to support capital projects at the client's site in Ware, England. This role is site-based and can be staff or inside IR35 contract.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure health and safety, and drive projects from concept to completion within a regulated environment. The role requires proactive delivery and strong client coordination.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Ability to manage work scope and interfaces between engineering disciplines to ensure delivery.
• Experience delivering projects through full life cycle in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline work packages ensuring quality and environmental compliance (ISO standards).
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines to ensure on-time delivery of work packages.
• Organise and prepare safety reviews, meetings and progress reports with the client and design teams.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, and implement control measures where needed.
• Review vendor documents and assist with responses to site queries.
• Focus on delivering electrical project scopes within brownfield sites.
