Job summary

Wood Group is recruiting for Project Engineers to support the delivery of engineering capital projects at our client site in Barnard Castle, County Durham. The role is site-based and can be staff or inside IR35 contract, working with a multi-discipline team to deliver projects from concept through to completion.

You will manage interfaces across engineering disciplines, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including GxP/ALCOA where

Qualifications

• Experience with Wood and client health and safety standards within the design process.
• Be able to manage work scope and interfaces between engineering disciplines.
• Proven experience in Project Engineering within pharmaceutical or related industries.
• CDM knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver capital projects from concept through to completion at the client site.
• Work with a multi-disciplined team including client engineers, designers and contractors.
• Prepare procurement strategies and engage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Forecast manning levels and prepare detailed execution plans.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and ensure delivery of work packages.
