Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for our London operations. You will take technical ownership of substantial electrical packages from design through procurement, installation, testing, and handover on high-profile city schemes.

You will lead electrical design coordination, review drawings, manage RFIs and changes, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safety and QA/QC on site.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical building services experience.
• Experience coordinating with design teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design information coordination across packages.
• Review drawings, specs and technical submissions.
• Manage RFIs, design changes and procurement packages.
• Approve shop drawings and method statements.
• Plan and track electrical works against programme.
• Identify risks and recovery actions with the team.
• Oversee installations for quality and safety compliance.
• Lead electrical BIM coordination and interfaces with other trades.
• Support testing, FATs and commissioning activities.
• Provide input into variations and mentoring of junior staff.
