Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent, towards chartership
• Electrical trade background advantageous
• 5–10 years' experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Revit would be advantageous
• Experience with Trimble software desirable
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Report progress, risks and issues to the Project Team
• Assist the Design team with engineering solutions
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure correct product selection per specification and codes
• Support BIM coordination to ensure system coordination prior to manufacture
• Attend client design reviews and constructability meetings
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers
• Analyze design documents and identify scope gaps
• Support construction with engineering solutions as required
