Job summary

Jones Engineering in London is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery of complex electrical projects on site. You will coordinate the project team, manage budgets, schedules and safety compliance to hit milestones.

You will liaise with stakeholders, mentor the cross-functional team, and drive pre-construction through to handover, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while upholding quality standards. This role offers career progression toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3rd Level Electrical Qualification essential.
• Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience of managing Electrical projects a distinct advantage.
• Excellent delegation and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team essential.
• Ability to work and collaborate with the wider project team essential.
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all financial and management aspects of the project.
• Overall responsibility for project team, labour control and coordination.
• Liaise with key project stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Maintenance of quality and health and safety standards in line with internal procedures.
• Commercially focused
• Proven record delivering Electrical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, on time and within budget.
• Commercially and contractually competent with a good understanding of project P&L.
• Proven ability to manage an existing core cross-functional team / develop the team.
