Job summary
Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead cross‑functional product development and oversee delivery from concept through production and support for security inspection systems.
You will collaborate with R&D, Product Management and Manufacturing to define technical requirements, manage budgets and schedules, review design documentation, and drive quality and lifecycle activities across multi‑discipline teams; some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' engineering experience in a technical environment.
- Experience overseeing design reviews, approvals and governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities across product lines.
- Support New Product Introduction programmes from concept to production.
- Define technical requirements, product specs and project plans.
- Review and approve technical documentation and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and Manufacturing.
- Assist with BoMs, configuration management and cost estimation.
- Provide lifecycle support from concept to end-of-life.
