Job summary

Arup's Building Engineering team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on cutting-edge projects and deliver designs across commercial, residential, education and energy sectors.

You will lead design work, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, support net zero carbon objectives, and promote digital design using BIM and Revit. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for professional development on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering, ideally to Masters level.
• Chartered Engineer status via IET or CIBSE.
• Excellent design and technical skills.
• Lead design responsibility on Electrical Services projects.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams from inception to completion.
• Experience in electrical building services design across a range of project scales and building types.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building services across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to completion.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead design responsibilities for electrical services on projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Support the journey towards Net Zero Carbon through optimized electrical design and energy strategies.
