Job summary

Code Resources LTD seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its Manchester office. Hybrid working: three days in the office, with strong project ownership and career development opportunities.

You’ll deliver electrical building services designs, coordinate with mechanical engineers and architects, mentor junior engineers and keep clients updated on progress and deadlines. The role offers exposure to diverse building projects.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ experience in electrical building services design.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and review designs.
• Experience presenting design decisions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical building services designs, specs and drawings.
• Perform cable calculations and sizing.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical engineers, architects and project team.
• Provide client updates on progress and deadlines.
• Review junior engineers’ designs for quality.
• Mentor junior colleagues and build technical confidence.
• Manage workload and deliverables for projects.
