Job summary

CHPK Group in London is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the conceptualisation and realisation of electrical systems for building services projects, including lighting, power distribution, security and more.

You will conduct feasibility studies, provide technical guidance to the engineering team, oversee project execution to meet quality and safety standards, and engage with stakeholders to secure new opportunities while promoting sustainable, energy-efficient designs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Profound expertise in electrical systems for building services, including lighting, power distribution and security.
• Familiarity with UK building codes, regulations, and sustainability benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Oversee project execution to ensure all mechanical systems meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and budgets, identifying and addressing risks.
• Participate in tender preparation and client presentations to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
• Promote sustainability and energy-efficient practices in mechanical system designs.
