Job summary

CHPK Group, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in London to lead electrical system concepts for building services including lighting, power distribution, and security.

You will oversee design, installation and commissioning, while guiding a collaborative engineering team and managing project budgets and risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering is required.
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems for building services including lighting and power distribution.
  • Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of UK building codes and sustainability benchmarks.

You will be responsible for leading the conceptualisation and realisation of electrical systems for building services ventures, encompassing lighting, power distribution, security, and more.

What you will do
  • Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring that all mechanical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress and budgets, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
  • Participate in tender preparation and client presentations to secure new projects and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
  • Promote sustainability and energy-efficient practices in mechanical system designs.

Who you are

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Profound expertise in electrical systems pertinent to building services, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, and security measures.
  • Proficiency in employing design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, .
  • Acquaintance with UK building codes, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability benchmarks.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving acumen, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication prowess and leadership acumen, essential for fostering effective collaboration with team members and clientele alike.
