Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Leeds Oncology contract at St James’ University Hospital. The role is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will work with a maintenance team to deliver services, perform reactive and planned maintenance, and provide technical guidance. Training for Authorised Person duties and liaison across healthcare projects are expected as part of ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Qualified time served engineer with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Healthcare experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services.
• Provide customer facing maintenance service to the Leeds Oncology Wing.
• Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance team and train for Authorised Person duties.
• Maintain records and complete service reports; report progress to line manager.
