Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Leeds Oncology contract at St James’ University Hospital. This permanent full-time role involves working alongside a maintenance team, requiring a qualified engineer with at least 3 years of experience.

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks, present reports to supervisors, and ensure compliance with operational procedures while enjoying a competitive salary and numerous benefits.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience desirable but not essential.
• Ability to undertake training to maintain and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspection of electrical services.
• Provide cover for absent colleagues to maintain the service.
• Maintain records and complete service reports as appropriate.
• Assist other skilled trades with maintenance and installation work.
• Act as Competent or Authorised Person as directed.

Qualified time-served engineer
