Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Leeds Oncology contract based at St James’ University Hospital, Leeds. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will coordinate and manage all EQUANS Buildings Ltd delivered services for the Leeds Oncology Wing, oversee trades staff, sub-contractors and ensure maintenance standards are met. Health & safety and incident prevention are key focus areas.

Qualifications

Must have 3 years post qualification experience
Experience of operations and maintenance of buildings, engineering plant, services and equipment
Experience of risk management and health & safety
Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment

Responsibilities

Act as hands-on lead and front line manager for trades staff
Provide technical engineering advice and support to trade staff
Manage and supervise maintenance of plant, equipment and building fabric through direct labour and external contractors
Allocate and monitor tasks ensuring work meets standards and maintenance specification
Requisition materials, services and transport as required
Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance based on priority
Implement planned preventative maintenance procedures with CAFM system
Ensure safe working practices in line with guidelines
Instruct others and deliver toolbox talks
Participate in emergency on-call rota
Engage with stakeholders to enhance service provision
