Join a team passionate about decarbonising energy use in buildings – a vital component of the drive to Net Zero. WSP’s Energy Solutions team provides market-leading expertise in the development of heat networks and private wire electrical networks. Working with public and private sector clients, we help local communities, universities, and health trusts to identify, design, and deliver decarbonisation solutions for their buildings.

We’re looking to grow our team of Electrical Engineers in response to increasing demand for decarbonisation services.

You’ll be designing grid connections to private wire networks, solar farms, EV charger facilities, battery energy storage sites, and low carbon energy centres.

You’ll also support the Mechanical team with the design of electrical services for low-carbon energy centres and district energy schemes.

Your duties will include:

1. Undertaking site surveys and assessments.
2. Designing electrical systems and connections.
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
