Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Delivery

Division/Location: Central London

Salary: £70,000 per annum or £45 per hour (contract option)

Sector: Data Centre Projects | New Division | Long-Term Pipeline

Our client, a leading consultancy based in Central London, is actively growing a newly established Data Centre Delivery Division and is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in shaping this team.

With a strong project pipeline and increasing demand in the mission-critical sector, this is a prime opportunity to join an agile, forward-thinking consultancy committed to delivering excellence in data centre design and delivery.

The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

1. Leading electrical design and coordination across large-scale data centre projects
2. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery from concept through to commissioning
3. Supporting the growth and development of the new data centre division
4. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services engineering
• Strong track record of working on data centre or other mission-critical projects
• Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech)
• Good understanding of UK regulations and industry standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
