ABB Motion is seeking an experienced System Design Engineer to lead electrical design across medium to large projects. You will apply your expertise in rotating machinery, power and control systems, and ensure designs align with contract specs, quality standards, and cybersecurity policies.
The role involves delivering cost-effective engineering solutions, supporting FAT/SAT, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Formación
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design for power and control systems with variable speed drives.
- Proven experience as a System Design Engineer on projects with motor technologies.
- Proficient with electrical design software, especially ePLAN.
- Excellent communication in English, written and spoken.
Responsabilidades
- Be the design authority for the electrical engineering discipline across multiple projects.
- Create work plans and cost estimates to deliver within targeted budgets.
- Execute engineering work, ensure designs meet specs, safety and cybersecurity standards.
- Support FAT/SAT activities and drive design improvements for reliability.
