Senior Electrical Engineer – West London

Location: West London

Salary: £57,000

Shifts: 6am–6pm Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a world-class Critical Data Centre facility located in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly technical and mission-critical environment with a global client.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and critical infrastructure within the data centre
2. Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance across HV/LV systems
3. Support electrical switching and isolations in line with safe systems of work
4. Work closely with the engineering team and subcontractors to ensure service continuity and uptime
5. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers during shifts

Requirements:

1. Proven experience working in a critical environment (preferably data centres)
2. Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3, 18th Edition, etc.)
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, generators, and building services
4. Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts, both days and nights
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
