Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical installations on a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role oversees HV/LV distribution, UPS and generators, coordinating with mechanical and commissioning teams on a mission-critical facility.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in M&E contracting, data centre experience, and a degree in Electrical Engineering with strong communication skills. On-site role with safety training required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' M&E contracting experience.
• Data centre experience essential.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV, switchgear, UPS and standby generation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installation works including HV/LV distribution, UPS and generators.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors for quality, safety and programme.
• Review drawings, technical submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Support energisation, commissioning and handover of electrical systems.
