3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role focuses on overseeing HVAC, cooling and piping installations on a mission-critical facility with a market-leading team.

The ideal candidate will have data centre experience, a mechanical or building services degree, substantial contractor experience, strong communication, and a valid CSCS card. Accommodation/travel support may be available.

Qualifications

• Data centre experience essential.
• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Several years' experience as a mechanical engineer with a main or M&E contractor.
• Strong knowledge of data centre cooling, HVAC and piping systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation works including HVAC, cooling and piping systems.
• Oversee mechanical subcontractors for quality, safety and programme.
• Review drawings, technical submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA and commissioning teams.
