Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Nottingham team. You will lead electrical design across a varied workload including logistics, education, residential, leisure, and public sector projects.

You’ll engage in full RIBA stages from concept to completion and build strong client relationships. The role requires Revit proficiency, solid UK consultancy experience, and excellent communication with the design team and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Solid UK consultancy experience in electrical building services design.
• Comfortable in Revit and able to run projects.
• Strong communication with architects, contractors, clients and the design team.
• Chartered or working towards it is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on a varied workload across sectors.
• Work on large scale logistics and industrial warehouses.
• Contribute to education projects from primary to higher education.
• Deliver residential, PRS and care home schemes.
• Develop leisure centres, offices and public sector buildings.
• Involve in full RIBA stages from concept to completion with QA.
• Operate primarily in Revit and client-facing meetings.
