Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer for our Essex office. The role focuses on leading mechanical design for education, residential, commercial, industrial and growing healthcare projects, primarily at RIBA Stage 4 and beyond.

The team operates within a senior-heavy MEP consultancy where Directors are involved on most projects. Revit is a bonus; home working is available on request, but the team thrives on in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Stage 4 detailed design is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of British Standards, RIBA stages and BSRIA BG6.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design on projects across education, residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare.
• Producing detailed technical design and construction-level information through to commissioning.
• Collaborating with Directors, electrical and public health colleagues and in-house Revit technicians.
