Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is working with a well-established consultancy in Winchester to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services). You will own electrical designs from survey through to construction, coordinating with clients and contractors and guiding junior engineers.

Based in Winchester with hybrid working, the role offers a £75,000–£80,000 salary, a path to technical progression and project ownership across varied building services schemes.

Winchester, Hampshire (Commutable from: Basingstoke, Andover, Eastleigh, Southampton, Salisbury, Farnham, Alton, Newbury)

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take ownership of projects from survey and feasibility through to construction, commissioning and completion, while continuing to develop your career within an established engineering consultancy?

On offer is a senior, project-led position where you will take responsibility for the electrical design and delivery of building services projects, working closely with clients, contractors and other design disciplines, with the chance to support and mentor junior engineers as part of a growing team.

This well-established consultancy is known for delivering high-quality design work and building long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are now looking to add an experienced engineer to strengthen their electrical capability and help drive project delivery standards.

In this role you will carry out condition and site surveys, produce detailed designs, calculations and specifications, support tender processes, and respond to technical queries through construction. You will also attend project and site meetings, monitor quality and progress, and oversee testing, commissioning and close-out activity.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer from a building services background looking for genuine project ownership, greater responsibility, and the opportunity to develop others while working on varied, end-to-end projects.
