Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Building Service Design for a 12-month contract in Liverpool. The role focuses on delivering electrical design for major construction projects and coordinating with M&E teams and BIM workflows.

You will produce high-quality designs, support cost planning and pre-construction activities, and mentor junior engineers. The position offers a hybrid office presence in Liverpool with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• CIBSE / IET member (or working towards Chartership).
• Strong experience in building services design (HVAC / MEP).
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, and design coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Deliver Electrical design for major construction projects.

Are you a senior Electrical Engineer in Building Service Design and looking to work on some exciting projects? Do you want a contract role with variety? You could work for a leading Building Services contractor, with a national presence with the following details; Location: Liverpool (1x a week in the office) Rate: Up to £50 per hour (Inside IR35) Duration: 12 months +
