Role Description

Senior Electrical Engineer – Water Services

SoCode Engineer has partnered with the largest water company in England, supplying water and water recycling to seven million people in the East of England. They are preparing for AMP 8, a significant program of work, and are seeking several Senior Electrical Engineers to support this growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
• Design and specify LV assemblies such as MCCs, LV Switchboards, and Control Panels.
• Review LV electrical designs produced by contractors, including schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams.
• Coordinate with technical teams, construction, operations, suppliers, and utility companies.
• Select instrumentation based on process design.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems. Ideally, candidates will have 8+ years of experience.

Salary and Benefits:

£40,000 - £75,000 DOE, plus benefits.
