Leading Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Birmingham region office. You will lead electrical design across healthcare, education, residential and commercial sectors, delivering low-carbon building services and supporting junior engineers.

Based in Birmingham or Solihull with hybrid working, this role offers a competitive salary (£45,000–£55,000) and a package including private healthcare, pension and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Electrical Building Services Design.
• Minimum 3-4 years' post-qualification experience.
• Chartered or working towards it (CIBSE, IET)

A leading multi-disciplinary Building Services Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join one of their regional offices in Birmingham or Solihull. The business delivers mechanical, electrical and low-carbon solutions across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, and public sector projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and sustainability-focused consultancy, working on technically complex and meaningful projects. You'll lead project delivery, support junior engineers, and help drive innovation across the Electrical team.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in Electrical Building Services Design
• Minimum 3-4 years' post-qualification experience
• Experience with Amtech, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with British Standards, Building Regs, and ideally HTMs
• Project background in healthcare, education, residential, or commercial sectors
• Chartered or working towards it (CIBSE, IET)
• Strong communication and project leadership skills
• Knowledge of renewable energy integration and BREEAM (ideal not essential)
