Job summary

Roc Search Europe Limited is representing a well-established Building Services consultancy in Kent, seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer. You will lead Mechanical and Electrical project design, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions in a hybrid setup.

The role requires a strong background in MEP design, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Building Services consultancy.
• Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP design.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services projects.
• Produce and review engineering drawings, schematics and calculations.
• Develop designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CDM Regulations.
• Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Attend client meetings, design reviews and technical workshops.
• Respond to technical queries, RFIs and contractor information requests.
• Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the engineering team.
• Assist with project planning, programme management and maintaining project budgets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting future business development opportunities.

Salary: Up to £68,000 DOE

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Building Services consultancy for an experienced senior Building Services Engineer to join their talented team in Northfleet. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Building Services Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality Building Services projects, mentoring junior engineers and working closely with clients to provide innovative engineering solutions. About You

• Experience working within a Building Services consultancy.
• A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Building Services design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• A good understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CDM Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Membership of CIBSE (ACIBSE or MCIBSE) or progress towards professional accreditation would be advantageous.
