Ethos seeks a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer to join our Birmingham office, collaborating with our Dublin team. You will lead electrical design packages for hyperscale data centre projects across the EMEA region, mentoring junior staff and ensuring delivery aligns with schedules, budgets and quality standards.

You will guide engineers and BIM technicians, driving designs from concept through construction while maintaining high technical rigor and client liaison.

Qualificações

• Honours Degree required; Chartered status an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer.
• Electrical building services design experience in Data Centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
• Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN standards.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
• Strong communication; able to liaise with clients, architects and PMs.
• Experience in specifying and designing Electrical Building Services systems.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects.
• Design and specification of electrical services for various buildings and sectors.
• Produce detailed schematics.
• Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Provide detailed tender packages and monitor installation and quality on site.
• Tender analysis and recommendations.
• Develop project scope with design team and client.
• Confidently lead projects with minimal input from management.
• Use MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech and REVIT to deliver designs.
• Produce budgets and client reports.
• Attend site visits.
