Job summary

Logistex in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design of electrical systems for our automated warehouse platforms. You will produce detailed circuit diagrams, layouts and BOMs, and work with the project team to ensure seamless integration.

You will handle electrical safety, calculations, and CAD drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD, with a focus on meeting standards like EN 60204 and 13849, while contributing to innovative robotics solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical design experience, including calculations, specs, CAD with EPlan, and design concepts.
• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering – Degree preferred, HND/HNC acceptable with relevant design experience.
• Solid understanding of automation equipment.
• Knowledge of EN 60204, EN 13849 and 18th Edition electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality electrical designs that meet project requirements and relevant technical standards.
• Produce electrical solutions using Eplan and AutoCad suitable for use by the installation and service support teams.
• Produce safety solutions to current safety standards and power calculations to support the overall solution design.
• Produce technical documentation to support other departments in the execution of their tasks.
• Coordinate electrical, control and mechanical requirements with Project Engineering for an integrated design solution.
