Job summary

GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer in Nottingham to develop innovative automation solutions for large-scale projects. You will analyse client operations, design end‑to‑end intralogistics systems, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver technically robust proposals.

The role requires strong CAD skills, data analysis capabilities, and experience with ASRS, conveyors, robotics, and warehouse software.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse automation or intralogistics.
• Proficient CAD design experience.
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer operations, processes and requirements.
• Design warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
• Develop system concepts with conveyors, ASRS, robotics, sortation, AMRs, WMS/WCS.
• Prepare technical specs, budgets and proposals.
• Lead design reviews and support senior colleagues.
