Job summary

Logistex is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical designs for automated warehouse systems. You will collaborate closely with Project Engineers, Controls Engineers and Installation teams to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery.

Key responsibilities include creating circuit diagrams, BOMs and documentation, performing electrical calculations and supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Strong electrical design experience within capital equipment, automation or systems engineering.
• Proficient with EPLAN, AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of electrical and safety standards including 18th Edition, EN60204 and EN13849.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality electrical designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Create circuit diagrams, layouts, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Perform electrical calculations and develop safe, compliant solutions.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, controls and project teams.
• Investigate and resolve electrical design issues.
• Attend project sites to verify installations and design compliance.
• Support customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
