Job summary
Personnel Selection in the United Kingdom seeks an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join the team at our Yateley site. You will develop control system solutions, deliver electrical drawings and procure scheduling of equipment in collaboration with other control system engineers.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or equivalent, experience with EPlan/AutoCAD, and knowledge of automation and control system design; holding a full UK driving license is required.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in electrical design using EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Knowledge of automation and control system design.
- Full UK driving license.
Responsibilities
- Design control system solutions including PLCs, networks, SCADA/HMI and telemetry systems.
- Retro-fit electrical panels.
- Authoring and configuring system design documentation, network architecture drawings, electrical drawings and general arrangements.
- Aiding in the production of detailed design specifications including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and System Design Specifications (SDS).
- Identification and procurement scheduling of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Managing and completing site surveys.
