Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for an established Leeds-based engineering and manufacturing business. You will own electrical content across projects, crafting control system designs and specifications for large-scale, bespoke equipment.

You will work with cross‑functional teams and directly with customers to ensure delivery to technical, cost and schedule targets. A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; experience with BS EN standards is

Qualifications

Electrical design engineering experience within a drawing office environment.
Knowledge of low-voltage motor speed control applications.
Experience designing electrical control systems.
Knowledge of relay logic and safety standards.
Strong communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical designs and specifications for control systems on bespoke equipment.
Take responsibility for the electrical engineering content of projects.
Coordinate site, application and design engineering resources.
Manage technical requirements against cost, quality and schedule.
Collaborate with production, procurement, installation and commissioning teams.
Support design of low-voltage motor speed control systems.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and engineering representatives.
