Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is helping a leading engineering group in Leeds recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The role focuses on developing control system designs and managing technical content across projects.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, have around 5 years of experience, and be proficient with AutoCAD Electrical. You will collaborate across design, production and installation teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' electrical design experience.
• Experience working in engineering/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Developing designs and specifications for control systems across the product portfolio.
• Interfacing with design, production, procurement and installation teams to optimise costs.
• Managing project content including design hours, outsourcing and site labour within budget.
• Attending customer sites and liaising with customer engineering representatives as required.
