Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Project Engineer to join its North Manchester based engineering leadership team. You will be the internal authority on electrical and control systems, ensuring compliance, performance and efficiency across projects.

The role covers design, controls integration, installation and commissioning, with opportunities to lead from concept through FAT, SAT and site acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Control or Automation Engineering.
• Experience in industrial automation, machinery or control systems.
• Knowledge of EN60204, UKCA/CE conformity and functional safety.
• Ability to interpret and produce electrical schematics and control documentation.
• Experience managing suppliers, coordinating projects and controlling costs.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Organised, analytical and proactive with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Define and approve electrical design scopes and interface documentation.
• Review and validate control panel designs, schematics and layouts.
• Provide technical leadership from concept through to FAT, SAT and commissioning.
• Coordinate with mechanical design teams and external control system partners.
• Deliver or oversee factory and site acceptance testing.
• Support commissioning and customer training on site.
