Job summary

True Engineers in Ringwood is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design delivery on multidisciplinary building services projects, collaborating closely with architects, designers and contractors to achieve high quality, sustainable outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, manage day-to-day technical delivery, participate in project meetings and help grow the team while enjoying hybrid, flexible working and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in electrical engineering, building services or similar.
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience as an electrical design engineer in MEP, preferably a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
• Thorough understanding of building services engineering.
• Experience of mentoring junior members of staff would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
• Attending project meetings.
• Working in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals.
• Engage with junior staff in their day-to-day activities and offer advice and guidance.
• Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resource and work delivered.

This role is for an experienced electrical design engineer to join a growing building services design team.

You'll work on a range of technically interesting and varied projects, including work with well-known architects, designers and contractors. They have a great reputation for the quality of their services and their focus on sustainability and are looking for an engineer who shares these values.
