Job summary

Tozer Associates seeks an experienced electrical building services design engineer to join a consultancy with a long-standing track record. You will design electrical systems across sectors, from small power and lighting to fire alarms and security systems.

You will use Amtech and AutoCAD to produce designs, specs and drawings, visit sites to survey, write reports and monitor progress, and engage with clients and contractors to drive projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Consultancy experience, so you're familiar with client-facing work.
• Proficiency in Amtech and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for buildings, from small power and lighting to fire alarms and security systems.
• Produce detailed designs, specifications and working drawings using Amtech and AutoCAD.
• Survey sites, write technical reports and monitor progress.
• Meet with clients and contractors to shape projects from start to finish.
