About the Company:

Platform has partnered with a leading Clean Energy company that is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in developing electrical and power electronic systems for their innovative products.

About the Role - Crawley:

• Design electrical networks for grid-connected systems (AC/DC configurations)
• Create electrical architecture diagrams and wiring schematics
• Assist in the creation of electrolyzer and fuel cell stack designs
• Oversee and maintain electrical design materials and documentation; communicate with key stakeholders
• Assist with system installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components

Required Skills:

• Power system design experience - cable sizing, protection device selection, control systems
• Proficient in power system design software (ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB) - desired
• Experience with British and international regulations and standards
• Experience within R&D and prototype development environments
• Experience with MW scale systems - desired

Pay Range and Compensation: The salary is circa £65K-£68K depending on experience. This role is based in and around Crawley.
