Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in electrical controls design for industrial machinery or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC-based controls, sensors, and safety devices.
• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or EPLAN.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and customer specifications.
• Diploma or degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop electrical and pneumatic schematics for custom automation systems.
• Review scope, specifications, and requirements to determine controls-design needs.
• Select components based on requirements, availability, cost, and standards.
• Participate in concept, internal design, and customer design reviews.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Programming, Applications, PM, and Build teams.
• Support Applications Engineering with controls concepts and estimates.
• Develop RFQs and communicate with suppliers on specs and lead times.
• Identify long-lead components and potential budget or schedule impacts.
• Assist Build and Programming teams in issue resolution.
• Communicate with customers to ensure designs meet specs.
• Maintain project documentation: schematics, BOMs, spare-parts lists, OEM docs.
• Develop and maintain controls-design standards, templates, and best practices.
