Job summary

BOS Innovations seeks an Automation Systems Programmer to develop, integrate, and commission robotic automation solutions in a hands-on role. You will program robots, optimize motions, and ensure safety standards across projects in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred experience with FANUC and other industrial platforms, plus PLC/HMI integration. This role is based in London, Ontario, and offers full-time employment with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience programming, integrating, and commissioning industrial robots.
• Experience with FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa or equivalent platforms.
• Strong robot motion control, coordinate systems, tool frames and safety.
• Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, troubleshoot robot programs for automation apps.
• Create and optimize robot motion paths and tool configs.
• Perform offline programming and simulations including reach studies.
• Test safety functions and integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, sensors.
• Support commissioning and performance optimization during builds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges.
