Job summary
S1jobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to lead multiple building services projects across Scotland. You will drive delivery from mobilisation to handover, manage subcontractors, and work with clients and consultants to meet programme, budget and quality expectations.
The role offers a competitive salary of 65,000 to 85,000 per year, a bonus scheme, and excellent benefits, with opportunities to shape major projects in the defence, infrastructure and commercial sectors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager in Building Services.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and M&E delivery.
- Experience delivering projects valued from 1m to 20m+.
- Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Full UK driving licence and recognised electrical qualification.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical building services projects simultaneously.
- Lead project delivery teams across sectors.
- Ensure delivery meets programme, budget and quality targets.
- Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Monitor performance and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with commercial teams on costs, variations and valuations.
- Attend progress meetings and report on project performance.
- Support business in securing repeat and negotiated work.
