Job summary

Balfour Beatty Scotland (MEP) is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical delivery on major building services and infrastructure projects across Scotland.

You will own electrical scope, drive safety, quality and programme performance, and work with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply-chain partners from pre-construction through to handover. This role offers diverse projects and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical project management within construction, building services or major infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering large, technically complex projects.
• Healthcare project experience within hospitals or complex healthcare environments.
• Experience across education, public sector, infrastructure or major building projects is advantageous.
• Strong electrical and building-services technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical delivery of complex building services and infrastructure projects.
• Manage electrical project scope, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist packages.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules, submittal logs and coordination drawings.
• Collaborate with design, commercial, construction and commissioning teams.
• Lead pre-construction, progress, design and technical meetings.
• Manage procurement, material delivery and technical compliance.
• Oversee quality control and sustainability requirements.
