Quantum Motion is a fast-growing quantum computing scale-up based in London, developing silicon-based quantum processors and advanced semiconductor integration. The role sits in the Process Integration team and focuses on electrical characterisation of silicon devices to improve yield, reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in semiconductor device testing or yield analysis in foundry/IDM/R&D.
• Strong understanding of silicon CMOS fabrication processes and device physics.
• Hands-on experience with parameter analysers, SMUs and wafer probe stations, including DC and RF testing.
• Strong Python skills for automation and instrument control.
• Analytical approach with ability to work with large datasets to identify trends.
• Excellent communication across semiconductor, process, hardware and quantum teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive electrical characterisation of fabricated silicon devices and high-throughput screening.
• Turn electrical data into manufacturing insights by identifying patterns and variability.
• Develop automated measurement/testing infrastructure and Python-based routines.
• Analyse large-scale electrical datasets using SPC and yield analysis.
• Collaborate with foundries and process engineers to improve device performance and yield.
• Build scalable characterisation processes, SOPs, and data pipelines.
• Help shape next-gen characterisation as Quantum Motion scales.
