Qualifications

• PhD in physics or engineering is required.
• Experience with dynamical characterisation of semiconductor nanoelectronic devices.
• Ability to independently design and perform complex experiments with data analysis and reporting.
• Familiar with high-frequency electronics and instruments such as AWGs and IQ modulators.
• Proficiency in data acquisition software (Python) and collaboration in teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-throughput characterisation and benchmarking of quantum hardware at scale.
• Develop techniques to characterise properties of quantum dots, qubits and processor nodes.
• Work with automation to extract parameters and performance metrics; analyse datasets for device teams.
