Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior CAD Technician (Electrical) to join our engineering team in delivering electrical design outputs for major UK water and wastewater projects. You will coordinate with Electrical, ICA, Mechanical, Civil and Process engineers, lead drawing production, and drive digital engineering and BIM delivery across the portfolio.

You will manage offshore or remote design teams, ensure designs meet CDM and company standards, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical CAD professional with infrastructure/water sector experience.
• Strong Revit and 3D modelling skills, familiar with 2D drafting and layouts.
• Experience coordinating offshore/remote design teams and multi-discipline projects.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, coordination and QA of electrical design drawings and models.
• Manage CAD workloads to meet project programmes and milestones.
• Promote best practices in CAD, BIM and digital engineering.
• Coordinate drawing production with offshore/remote design teams.
• Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations and company standards.
• Mentor junior CAD technicians and designers.
