Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior CAD Technician (Electrical) to join the Southern Division with flexible working. You will lead electrical CAD/BIM outputs across projects, coordinate offshore teams, and ensure designs meet high standards of quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have significant experience in multidisciplinary engineering, strong 2D/3D CAD skills, and a robust Revit and BIM background. You will drive digital delivery excellence and mentor junior staff within a collaborative

Qualifications

Significant experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Strong Electrical CAD background in infrastructure, utilities, or water sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead the production, coordination and QA of electrical design drawings and models.
Manage and prioritise CAD workloads to meet programmes and milestones.
Act as Digital Delivery Champion, promoting CAD, BIM and digital engineering best practices.
Coordinate drawing production by offshore and remote design teams.
Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations and project standards.
Coordinate design information across Electrical, ICA, Mechanical, Civil and Process streams.
Support resolution of technical queries and design clashes.
Produce and review electrical design models, layouts, schematics and drawings.
Maintain drawing standards and QA/document control.
Support BIM implementation and digital project delivery across teams.
Mentor and support junior CAD technicians when required.
